If you make purchases or buy a subscription, our third-party billing service providers may collect information such as your full name, payment details, and billing address. If you email us, we may use your email address to reply to your email.

Account information. If you create an Account, we collect the email address you use to sign in (via one-time code), your assessment results linked to that Account, and a record of your plan (which plan and until when).

Assessment answers and results. When you take a quiz or assessment, we process your answers to compute and display a result. Those answers and results may be stored so you can revisit them or link them to your Account.

Information sent by your device. We may collect certain information that your device or browser sends when you use Testfy, such as a device or browser identifier, user settings, operating system, and information about your use of our Services.

Location information. When you use Testfy, we may collect and store information about your approximate location by converting your IP address into a rough geo-location, or by accessing coarse location if you enable location services on your device. We may use location information to improve and personalize our Services for you. If you do not want us to collect precise location information, you may disable that feature on your device.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Service (for example, quiz progress and keeping you signed in). We also use Google Tag Manager and related tags for analytics and marketing measurement. Where required, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. You can change your choice by clearing site data for testfy.com in your browser.

Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact page or by email, we keep the message and the reply address you gave so we can respond.

  • For other purposes related to our business

How long do we store your information?

We intend to store some of your information for as long as needed to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Session and similar technical keys may be short-lived.

What about links to other websites?

We may provide links to or compatibility with other websites. However, we’re not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain.

How do we protect your information?

We use appropriate physical, electronic, and other procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. However, please be aware that the Internet is an inherently unsafe environment, and that attackers are constantly working to defeat security measures. Thus, we cannot guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed, and you accept this residual risk.

How can you protect your information?

We urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not sharing it with others or posting it online unnecessarily. Keep access to the email inbox you use to sign in, because that inbox is how Account access works.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for commercial or marketing purposes, except as stated herein. Personal information (and non-personal information) collected through Testfy may be shared with companies and organizations that perform services on our behalf (for example, companies that provide data management, payment processing, analytics, or other support services to us such as data storage and web hosting services).

Information disclosed in connection with business transactions. If we are acquired by a third party as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale, or if our assets are acquired by a third party in the event we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, some or all of our assets, including your PII, may be disclosed or transferred to a third-party acquirer in connection with the transaction.

Information disclosed for our protection and the protection of others. We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Clinical and sensitive assessment answers

Some questionnaires may ask about mood, anxiety, attention, or related topics. Those answers are treated like other assessment answers: kept to produce your result and operate your Account, and not sold. No result on Testfy is a medical diagnosis.

Deleting what we hold

Write to us at Support@testfy.com with the link to a result and we will delete it and every answer behind it where practicable. If you have an Account, write from its email and we will delete the Account and everything tied to it, subject to legal retention needs (for example, billing records).

Not intended for children

Testfy and the Service are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly or specifically collect information from or about children under the age of 16.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. We may also, but are not required to, send you an email notice. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
